WHO WE ARE:

We are a multi-generational church, a place
where kids  have fun learning the Word of God in
AWANAs, and Sunday School.  They  learn
sportsmanship and basketball skills in programs
like Kids Hoops and our volley ball clinic.
Our teens grow in character and travel from
swimming parks to ball games, from Christian
concerts to fifth quarter celebrations. They
participate in decision making through the Youth
Council.  Our seniors are keep busy with ESP, and
day trips designed for their special needs. The
distinctives here at FBC Columbus are a loving
fellowship, many positive role models and a
passion for missions.
In a world filled with relational disconnection, we
are helping people connect by building bridges.
Across these bridges families can connect to
God, one another and a church that really cares.
We are also building bridges to our community
through Kids Hoops, (basketball teams for
children), a jail ministry, participation in the food
pantry, senior adult activities and much more.
The Lord has even taken several within our
church over distant "bridges" called mission trips
to places like Mexico, Mozambique, Japan and El
Salvador.

About Us
FROM OUR PASTOR
                                                                OUR VISION:

Some may have a vision of a building, a certain size congregation, or some other destination, but our vision
is simple, a journey.

Out front of us, we see an incredible journey of growth that will take us forward in three areas - magnifying
the Lord in worship, ministering to the body in fellowship and maturing the members through discipleship.

Our vision is simple: a church on a journey together of growing and going.  When Jesus called His disciples,
He didn’t say, “Within the next twenty years we are going to baptize 10,000 people and start 500 new
churches. We will purchase a 20 acre piece of land right here in Jerusalem and build a 5,000-seat
auditorium.” What did He say? He simply said, “Come follow Me.” So, that is our vision. We are just
preparing ourselves to follow Him wherever He leads us as a church.  Out in front of us, we see an incredible
journey of growth inward that will take us forward spiritually in three areas: magnifying the Lord in worship,
ministering to the body in fellowship and maturing the members through discipleship.  But our journey also
includes a journey of going outward in two directions, missions and multiplication. We desire to evangelize
the lost locally, nationally and internationally through relationships and partnerships. In terms of
multiplication, we are also equipping the servants of the Lord for leadership, believing that as we equip more
laborers and leaders, God will multiply our ministry from where we are in Columbus to the very ends of the
earth.
