| walls of our church to local assisted living Our love for senior adults takes us beyond the residence and nursing homes. Once a month our Director of Choral Ministries and our Pastor lead a worship service and share a brief devotion at the Oaks Assisted Living and at the three nursing homes, Columbus Care and River Oaks & TLC. Check our monthly calendar for these activities. Our church bus will pick up any senior resident of these facilities for Sunday services. You may call the church office to make arrangements for this service. We have expanded our outreach efforts to include a special DVD (video) ministry to seniors who are either temporarily recovering from an illness or a surgery, permanently homebound or love. What a joy it is to express our heartfelt appreciation to those who made our community such a wonderful place to live by just spending time with them around the piano and in the Scriptures. We want the senior adults of our community to know that they are loved and are not forgotten! |
