Justin is full of energy and new ideas. Watch this site for news and activities relating to our youth Justin and the Youth Council have scheduled a variety of trips, entertainments. A Word From Justin
Delight in the Lord
When I read in my quiet time this morning
Psalm 37:4 really jumped out to me.
“Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will
give you the desires of your heart.” I know
that a lot of times we can take this to mean
whatever my desires are the Lord will give
me. So if I enjoy or desire to do this or that
then He will give those things to me. But, we
miss the words before that, “Delight
yourself in the Lord.” Delight according to
Bing search engine means to “take great
pleasure in, joy.” When we look at this
verse in this light, we must take great joy
and pleasure in Him. As we seek God and
grow intimately in our relationship with
Christ we begin to take great joy and
pleasure in Him. Then as we continue to
grow in Christ, He transforms our hearts to
look more like Him. Then our desires
becomes His desires and He will give us
those desires of our hearts. So as we seek
different decisions in our lives let us first
delight ourselves in Him above everything
else. Then He will give us the desires of our
hearts.

10th Period
Looking for something to do after school? Looking for a place
to hang out with your friends? Parents tired of dragging your
teens to the grocery store after school? Well 10th Periods are
the place to be. After your 9 periods of school come out to the
youth house for your 10th Period. The youth house will be
open after school until 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for
students 6th-12th grade to come and hangout with your
friends. There will be snacks, a place to finish homework, fun,
games, and a great time to hang out with each other.
